Great Sailing, great venues, great fun
Enjoy a memorable sailing experience in style aboard “Edinburgh Castle”, our luxury Lagoon 380 premium catamaran.
Take in spectacular views of the Three Bridges and the Edinburgh skyline whilst sailing in a UNESCO World Heritage setting.
The Forth Estuary is important for nature conservation and the inner islands of Inchcolm with its Augustinian abbey, Inchgarvie, Inchkeith, and Inchmickery are home to many sea birds and seals.
Further out the estuary you will find the Isle of May, home to the Puffins and the Bass Rock which hosts over 150,000 Northern gannets at the peak of the season making it the world’s largest colony.
Seals and porpoises are commonly sighted and we even receive the occasional visit from a friendly Whale.

Blackness Castle
As you set sail you will immediately pass the awe-inspiring Forth Rail Bridge. Built in the 1890s, this Victorian marvel is considered one of the engineering wonders of the world.
View Blackness Castle, known as the ship that never sailed and as featured in Outlander whilst keeping an eye out for marine wildlife including seals, porpoises and sea birds.
Sit back, relax and enjoy views from the luxury of the boat. If you fancy a more “hands-on” experience, the skipper will let you take the helm and learn the “ropes” as you sail along the Forth.
Ideal for individuals, couples or groups looking for a sailing adventure but with limited time.
This can be booked as a half day private charter or enjoyed on our “Bridges Sailing Taster” scheduled trip.
Inchkeith Island
On this exceptional day out, we follow the Bridges and Islands half day route passing the inner islands of Inchgarvie, Inchcolm and Inchmickery before continuing down river to the historic island of Inchkeith where we anchor for lunch.
During the World Wars, Inchkeith was integrated as a defensive structure called Fortress Forth. At its height about 900 men were stationed there. Today, portions of the 16th century fort walls still exist and other military structures remain visible.
You will see a large gull colony and many seals. Also keep an eye out for puffins and Gannets feeding in the area.
An exceptional route for individuals, couples or groups looking for a full day on the water.
This can be booked as a full day private charter or enjoyed on our “Bridges & Islands Full Day” scheduled trip.

During your sail, take in spectacular views of the Three Bridges, the island of Inchcolm with its medieval abbey and the islands of Inchgarvie and Inchmickery.
